History of the Volkswagen Golf II (1983-1992)
The names Volkswagen Golf II Golf Mk2 refer to the second generation of this popular model built by the German manufacturer Volkswagen which has been in uninterrupted production since 1983 until 1991, at this period, managed to sell over 6 million units. From August 1991 would appear its successor, the Golf III.
Golf II continued with the technical concept of the first Golf, but grew up in terms of external dimensions, and performance.
