The hidroimpresion is a technique of decoration that is used in many sectors of the industry. Can be applied to any type of material by using a few sheets of hidroimpresión that conform to the shape of the object to decorate. Is foil extends over a bucket of water and applied to it a trigger. Once this is done we will introduce the piece to decorate in the water slowly. The sheet of water transfer printing will adhere to the surface permanently. What the hidroimpresion can apply it to any person?

Yes, we sell some kit hidroimpresion by which you can decorate any room in the house. You only need to buy a plastic bucket that has some depth to it and fill it with hot water (30°C). The price of these plastic containers you can find it in any store for 8-12€. If you do not want to buy a bucket we can use the sink for the water transfer printing.

In the kit hidroimpresion you will find everything you need: sheets of water transfer printing, spray activator, spray lacquer, spray paint, sandpaper, gloves, and mask.

Steps to apply hidroimpresion

When buying any kit, water transfer printing, we give an application manual so that you are not left in no doubt. Anyway I recommend to visit our YouTube channel where you can find a full video of how to do this new technique step by step.

1. Clean the piece to decorate with hidroimpresion.
2. Fill a bucket of water at about 30°C.
3. To tape off the edges of the sheet of hidroimpresion with masking tape.
4. Put the sheet of hidroimpresión on the water. If there is a bubble sliding it to the extreme with the tip of your finger.
5. Spray the film with the spray activator, and wait 10 seconds.
6. Introducing the piece to decorate slowly and the water.
7. Leave the piece in the water for 20-30 min.
8. Remove the piece and let it dry for later lacarla with a spray.

Note: to be good is very important to know about which colour of surface you apply the hidroimpresion, for example, if our housing rearview mirror is white then we can apply the majority of films water transfer printing, except those of carbon. Please note that the original color of the piece, it will always look a little so that it has to be a color that favors. Below we cite the examples that are most common:

1. Piece color: white-we can apply sheets of drawings, wood, decoration in general.
2. Piece color black: it is not recommended to use them since they are a few colors are very muted.
3. Piece grey: it is very well with carbon.
4. Piece wood color: it is very good with wood.

In our kits hidroimpresion give you a spray can of white or grey (to choose) so you can paint the piece to decorate anything before and it looks perfect. We also attach a boat spray lacquer matt or gloss (your choice).

What happens if I make a wrong step in the water transfer printing?

You probably won't be well applied to the sheet of hidroimpresion but don't worry, the kit hidroimpresion include sandpaper, only you'll have to wait for it to dry the piece and sanding and start again, so easy.
