The Nissan Pulsar was produced from 1978 by the japanese brand Nissan. This is a compact car and subcompact. In Europe, the Press has never been known with this name, it was replaced in 2004 by the model Has. In different markets, the Press also took the names Nissan Sentra or Nissan Sunny.
HISTORY OF THE NISSAN PULSAR
Originally it was a hatchback that was sold only in Nissan dealers in Japan. The Nissan Pulsar was produced from 1978 until 2000, but in that year it was replaced by the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in the own japanese market. In 2005 it was renamed as ‘Has’ and in 2014 introduced a replacement exclusive to Europe Has using the identification plate of the Press. There are different generations of the Nissan Pulsar:
-The first generation of the Pulsar N10 (1978-1983) was sold in North America as the Datsun 310, and in Europe with the name Datsun 100A, 120A, 130A, 140A and 150A .
-The second generation of the Pulsar N12 (1983-1987) was produced in Europe in collaboration with Alfa Romeo, who sold it with the designation Alfa Romeo Arna.
-The third generation of the Pulsar N13 (1987-1990) was sold in Europe with the name Sunny, and in Malaysia as the Sentra.
-The fourth generation of the Pulsar N14 (1990-1995) continued to be called Sunny in Europe, and received the designation Sabre and Sentra in south Africa for the variants of the hatchback and sedan respectively.
-The fifth generation of the Pulsar N15 (1995-2000) took the name Almera in the european market
-The sixth generation of the Pulsar N16 (2000-2006) continued to call themselves Almera in Europe, and received a variant mpv five-seater called Almera Tino. The variant sedan also called Nissan Bluebird Sylphy, Nissan Almera Classic, or Samsung SM3, in certain markets.
-In 2013, the Press was re-launched in Europe with the name C13 (2014 – present)

THE ENGINE OF NISSAN PULSAR
With regard to its engine, it is really simple and consists of three powertrains. We can find a diesel, the 1.5 dCi 110 HP and two petrol engines, the 1.2 DIG-T 115 HP, which is offered with two choices of manual switching and automatic XTRONIC (for inverter continuous) and the more powerful engine, the 1.6 DIG-T 190 HP.
