HISTORY OF THE VOLVO XC90 (2015 – PRESENT)

The Volvo XC90 is a vehicle-luxury SUV that has a medium size. It is manufactured and marketed by Volvo Cars since 2002 and, in 2015, came out to the market with the second generation.

Volvo announced in may 2012, the second generation of the XC90 that it would start production in 2014, but would not come out officially on sale until 2015.

DESIGN OF THE VOLVO XC90 (2015 – PRESENT)

The Volvo XC90 presents, in its interior, a new control console that incorporates a touch screen 9 inch, along with controls integrated into the steering wheel, and a voice control system. All of these systems are linked to an interface that allows you to access applications such as radio, navigation, parking, music, etc.

The rear seat of this SUV have also been redesigned, including side bolsters, adjustable, extension of the seat cushion and massage.

The XC90 carries an air purification system which features a new carbon filter to capture more efficiently the small particles and pollen is in the air.

THE ENGINE OF THE VOLVO XC90 (2015 – PRESENT)

The Volvo XC90 (2015 – present) includes two petrol engines and two diesel engines. In a gasoline engine has T6 biturbo engine of 320 HP, that produces 400 nm of torque; and a T5 turbocharged 254 HP, producing 350 nm of torque. With respect to the diesel engines, has a D5 biturbo engine of 235 HP with a torque of 470 nm; and a D4 turbocharged 190 HP that produces 400 nm of torque.
