The Skoda Scala is based on the platform of the Volkswagen group MQB A0 developed by the Volkswagen Group also used for a model of this same group, such as the Volkswagen Polo, the Audi A1 or the Seat Ibiza.

In what dimensions are concerned, it is a vehicle closest to the B-segment to one of the C-segment, namely: 4362 / 1793 / 1470 / 2650 mm.
