HISTORY AND DESIGN OF THE PEUGEOT EXPERT 2 (2006-2015)

The Peugeot Expert 2 (2006-2015) is a vehicle of the second generation is manufactured in Sevel from 2006 to 2015. This new series was ranked as the ‘Van of the year’ in the year 2008.

This second generation had two types of bodywork: van and minibus.

In the version van was available in two heights and two lengths. The shorter version of the Expert 2 van had 4,81 metres and a wheelbase of 3 m; and the long version was 5,14 meters and had a wheelbase of 3,12 m. The height varied from 1.98 to 2.29 metres and, with respect to the width, the same for both models, it was of 1.90 meters. Its cargo compartment varied between 5000 and 7000 liters.

In the body minibus had the same lengths that the version van along with the same wheelbase. The body had four trim levels to choose from: Kombi, Kombi Comfort, Kombi Club and Kombi Océanic. All of these levels, except for the basic series, had incorporated Monday, antinieblas, bumper and mirrors, tinted side.

In the year 2011, the Peugeot Expert 2 suffered a small restyling which changed the grille and front bumper.

THE ENGINE OF THE PEUGEOT EXPERT 2 (2006-2015)

The Peugeot Expert 2 (2006-2015) version van was available with a petrol engine (2.0 16v) and three diesel engines (HDi 90 HDi 120 HDi 165). Regarding the gearbox was a 5-speed manual for the petrol engine and the diesel HDi 90; and for the two other models of diesel had a manual gearbox 6-speed.

In his version minibus had with the two diesel engines are more powerful, that is to say, four-cylinder engines of 2.0 liter common-rail direct injection of 120 HP and 163 HP. Both engines had a manual gearbox 6-speed.
