The Mitsubishi Grandis is a minivan seven-seater produced by the japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi. It was created with the intention of replacing minivans Chariot/Space Wagon/Nimbus .

HISTORY OF THE MITSUBISHI GRANDIS (2004 - 2011)

The Mitsubishi Grandis was launched in May 2003, to be marketed only in Japan, the rest of Asia, Europe, Oceania, Mexico, Honduras, Jamaica, and South America. The Grandis was launched in Malaysia on 28 July 2005, alongside the return of Mitsubishi in Malaysian. It was updated in Malaysia in 2007,2009 and 2010, respectively. The Mitsubishi Grandis ceased to be marketed in the japanese market in March 2009, which was marking the end of the designation Chariot, used continuously by Mitsubishi for 26 years. In 2011 it ceased all production of this vehicle

DESIGN OF THE MITSUBISHI GRANDIS (2004 - 2011)

Its exterior design was based on the earlier Mitsubishi Space Liner designer Olivier Boulay. He was regarded as the vehicle is completely renewed compared to previous models that represented this new face wash that the japanese manufacturer wanted to give their vehicles. He was given a redesigned front, with a grid more sharp and a hood more inclined with the emblem of the brand in relief. The Mitsubishi Grandis was the basis of the concept Mitsubishi FCV (vehicle, fuel cell) , driven by a technology of fuel cell.

THE ENGINE OF THE MITSUBISHI GRANDIS (2004 - 2011)

The Mitsubishi Grandis had a four-cylinder engine of 2.4 liters and a turbodiesel 2.0-liter in Europe alone. The model of a diesel engine came along with the european launch of Grandis in 2004. I originally used the version BSY 136 HP (100 kW) diesel Common Rail Volkswagen; in 2008 it was changed to the variant BWC from 140 HP (103 kW), without changes of performance declared.
